dr Christian Schnell

Christian Schnell is a legal counsel (radca prawny) at the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw and Rechtsanwalt (German advocate) at Landgericht Düsseldorf. Qualified in 1998. He gained his legal qualifications in Bonn and Cologne, and has been awarded a PhD in economic sciences.

His clients include international utilities, developers, investment funds, family offices and multinational corporations. For 15 years he has been advising on projects including conventional and renewable energy projects. He advises on the structuring and establishing investment funds including energy, infrastructure and technology funds, and advises on the investment activities of those funds. 

Christian Schnell is one of the major experts for renewable energy and has spoken at various conferences and published dozens of articles on legal subjects, including the development of renewable energy legislation.

He is a lecturer with the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH).

Christian Schnell is vice-president of the energy sector industry association “ZPP SE” and head of the “econet Poland” initiative of the Polish German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
