Justyna Chabocka heads the firm’s banking and finance practice. She is a legal advisor with over 25 years of experience. She graduated from law studies at the University of Warsaw, and has held the title of legal advisor since 2002. Between 1997 and 2007 she worked in the banking and finance teams of leading international law firms: Clifford Chance, Linklaters and Hogan Lovells, and then was a partner in specialised boutique law firms handling financial transactions. She joined the firm in 2016.
Justyna Chabocka specialises in particular in handling transactions involving the granting or obtaining of various types of financing, both bilateral and syndicated, including real estate financing (acquisitions, construction of retail, office, residential, hotel facilities), financing of renewable energy sources, corporate financing, refinancing, project finance, financing of asset acquisitions, financing of capital groups with companies in different jurisdictions (cross border transactions).
She has extensive experience in structuring transactions, preparing and negotiating financial documentation, executing transactions and conducting legal research for planned financing. Justyna Chabocka’s long-standing experience in handling financial transactions includes participation in several hundred transactions on the domestic and international markets, involving both Polish entities and international financial institutions.
She works for banks, both Polish and foreign, various types of financial institutions including investment funds, as well as for companies as borrowers representing various sectors of the economy.
